One Mistake. Everything Lost.

Why traditional seed phrase storage is broken

Single Point of Failure

One fire. One flood. One moment of forgetfulness. Traditional backups put your entire portfolio at risk from a single disaster.

Zero Privacy Protection

Seed phrases don't have "read-only" mode. Discovery equals theft. Your security is only as strong as your hiding spot.

Trusting Third Parties

Most tools require accounts, store your data on remote servers, or ask you to trust their infrastructure. One breach and your secrets are exposed.

Unrecoverable for Heirs

Without a secure inheritance plan, your crypto dies with you. Your family loses everything because they can't access what's rightfully theirs.

Lost in crypto due to lost or stolen seed phrases

Encrypt, Split and Distribute.

Split your seed phrase into fragments with Kyte. No single point of failure.

1. Enter Your Seed Phrase

Import your existing 12 to 24-word BIP39 seed phrase. Add an optional passphrase for AES-256-GCM encryption (Guardian). Your seed never leaves your device.

2. AES-256-GCM Encryption

Guardian users can optionally encrypt their seed with AES-256-GCM using a passphrase before splitting. Community tier uses Shamir splitting alone, still secure by design.

3. Telegram Alerts

Get notified instantly via a Telegram bot whenever your seed is decrypted or when someone attempts to decrypt it. Each alert includes the IP location so you can detect unauthorized access in real time.

4. Distributed Redundancy

With Shamir secret sharing algorithm, split your secret into N parts, requiring only K parts to recover. Lose one? No problem, your funds remain secure and accessible.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Kyte stores absolutely nothing. There is no account creation, no sign-up, no email required, and no server-side storage of any kind. Your seed phrase, fragments, passphrase, and encryption keys never leave your device.

Kyte is built on a zero-knowledge architecture: we have no database, no user profiles, and no way to access your secrets — even if we wanted to. You download the app, use it locally, and that's it. Nothing is transmitted, logged, or retained.
